  Warrior Workout (Kundalini)

October 27th 10:00am-noon. Kundalini Warrior Workout. 2 hour class

In this workout we seek to expand our sense of self by meeting our limits and going beyond them. We use every exercise as a launching pad to new horizons.

In the context of any exercise, when the going gets tough, remember these words. When your mind says "NO" let your spirit say "GO". The moment we make a conscious decision to keep up we become more then we were.

In Ten body and Kundalini yoga, we want to proceed with the realization that our true strength comes from within. We want to go beyond muscular strength alone, to faith in the flow of spirit. In light of this, breakthroughs become a way of life. Ten body and Kundalini yoga recognize that a strong nervous system and healthy glandular system, are pre-requisites for the "Warriors Way".

As a teacher, I've seen that each exercise tends to elicit patterns of response similar to many life situations in which we're obliged to extend ourselves. If we can make keeping up a habit, then the next time we have a deadline to meet at work, or our softball team is playing for the championship, we'll have the confidence of knowing we have the resources to excel.

A warrior is not a Conan-the Barbarian type character hell bent on decimating the enemy, but someone who seeks to make a total investment in everything they do, for the sake of impeccability itself. He/she doesn't make value judgments on their actions, whether it be mowing the lawn or running a marathon. A warrior lives with a sense of clam urgency, keenly aware that every breath is a gift, and that the acceptance of any gift entails a responsibility.

Some people spend their whole lives waiting for, or resisting the tests they need to take. So enter into the following sequence with firm resolve, grateful for the opportunity to work on your self and grow.

This set is designed to help you eliminate toxins, improve circulation, and give you aerobic benefits. It is important to realize that aerobic efficiency is your body's ability to utilize oxygen effectively, not necessarily the speed with which you can make your heart pound. So get set to sweat and go for the gold!
